چکیده

ev-Glucosidase is the general term for the hydrolases of a-glucoside, and a-glucosidase in the small intestine plays a physiologically important role for the digestion process of dietary carbohydrate. The inhibitors of or-glucosidase, in consequence, could retard the use of dietary carbohydrates to suppress postprandial hyperglycemia. or-Glucosidase inhibitors such as acarbose, miglitol, and voglibose are known to reduce the postprandial hyperglycemia by interfering with the digestion of dietary carbohydrates.i) This has led to the clinical use of acarbose for the treatment of diabetes mellitus, But users of acarbose are required to consult with doctors because of its side effects. It would be ideal if we could prevent life-style related diseases uch as diabetes, obesity, and so on by taking daily foods containing healthpromoting ingredients, and atse beneficial that there
